Root and Remedy Chicken and Beef Bone Broth jars
For a simple first experience, we recommend Chicken Bone Broth. Approximately 15g collagen and 16.82g protein per 210 ml jar, based on laboratory testing.
Why digestion matters

Your digestive system turns food
into nutrients your body can use.

Digestion breaks food into smaller parts that can be absorbed. Protein is broken down into amino acids and small peptides, while the small intestine absorbs most digested nutrients and water.

What is actually in the jar

Clear nutritional value.
No miracle gut claims.

We focus on what we can substantiate: meaningful protein, naturally occurring collagen, whole ingredients and a flexible way to add warm nourishment to meals.

Meaningful protein

One 210 ml jar of Chicken Bone Broth provides approximately 16.82g of protein, based on laboratory testing.

Naturally occurring collagen

One Chicken jar provides approximately 15g of collagen from chicken bones and connective tissue.

Warm, fluid-based nourishment

Each jar is a 210 ml savoury serving that can be warmed and sipped or incorporated into a meal.

Whole-food format

Made with chicken, vegetables, herbs and spices rather than formulated as a capsule, gummy or isolated powder.

Research into bone broth and digestive health is still developing. Evidence about individual amino acids or other dietary components cannot automatically be treated as proof that this broth heals the intestinal barrier or treats IBS, IBD, reflux or another digestive condition. This is food, not a medical treatment.
A simple explanation

What happens when you digest protein?

Dietary protein is broken down during digestion before its amino acids and smaller peptides are absorbed and used throughout the body.

1

You enjoy it

Bone broth provides collagen-containing protein in a warm, whole-food serving.

2

Your body digests it

Stomach acid and digestive enzymes help break protein into smaller peptides and amino acids.

3

Nutrients are absorbed

The small intestine absorbs digested nutrients so they can be carried to other parts of the body.
